Consumer unit replacement

The replacement of a consumer unit or fuse board falls under the scope of Part P notifiable works.  This is because the nature of the supply is being changed.

Even if the change is from old type rewireable fuses to plug-in MCBs, a certificate must be raised along with Inspection and Test documentation.

At Orchard Electrical we have the skills, knowledge and equipment necessary to undertake this type of work.  We will carry out a full pre-work inspection of the existing installation and advise on any work that might be necessary to bring the system up-to-standard.

Once we are satisfied that the existing installation is in good order, we will carry out the consumer unit replacement.

Once the work is complete you will be presented with all the relevant paperwork.
